Inaugural Lobby Day

Lobby Day was a success! We were proud to have all four PA programs in Alabama represented (UAB, USA, Samford & Faulkner), united in support of our profession and the patients we serve. As our first Lobby Day, it was exciting to see students and practicing PAs come together at the State House for a full day focused on advocacy. attendees engaged with the press, met with legislators, and sat in on committee meetings. Each part of the day gave us the opportunity to share our story, strengthen connections, and highlight the impact PAs have on patient care across Alabama. We are especially grateful to Representative Paul Lee for introducing our bill and for his leadership and support. Thank you to the legislators who took the time to meet with us, and to AAPA for their continued guidance and support in advancing our efforts.
