PRESCRIBING SEMINAR

The Alabama Board of Medical Examiners and the Medical Association of the State of Alabama host a prescribing seminar several times throughout the year at locations across the state.

PROFESSIONAL BOUNDARIES COURSE

New Licensees as of January 2025: All newly licensed physician assistants are required to complete the two-hour on-demand course provided by PBI Education entitled “Navigating Professional Boundaries in Medicine” within twelve months of initial licensure.
